Really? Wow! Never knew. Here I've been working on a set of tail lights, modding to eliminate the boards! Damn! Off the wreckers! Again!

Look back to my post, I edited while you must have been typing....

Eliminating the boards is easy. My 89 used 1157 and 1156 bulbs.

Find one in the scrapyard and grab the lenses and sockets and you're off to the races...

Haha , I picked up new bulbs for one last shot on my way to work . I just got off work and I'm gonna put them in tomorrow after school

I replaced the circuit board and put new bulbs in and it's good as new . Thanks guys.
