sun roof

Just curious, has anyone ever installed, or know of someone who has, a sun roof on a truck? I'm contiplating the idea. LOL. I think it might look alright myself. Opinions?

I have not seen one on a truck like this but i plan putting one in the 95. I think it will look good and since the roof is fairly flat it should be a easy install.

Now did they come stock with them or was the one you looked at custom cause i have never seen one in a GMT-400 pickup. Also did it look good?

NOT one is factory, Never came with them, It looked good, but looked like it leaked at one point.

Thats what I am affraid of to. I thought about it a couple times because I dont have a rear sliding glass but my T-tops leaked all the time when I had my firebird.

my old man put one in his buddies ford truck it looked good and worked good. I saw it on tv too, comes with a template to place and cut it out, then install the weatherstrip and brackets, etc. run wires and install the headliner after being cut to work.

just watched a video on youtube on how to install one. looks fairly easy.

Thats what I am affraid of to. I thought about it a couple times because I dont have a rear sliding glass but my T-tops leaked all the time when I had my firebird.

99% of all F-body T-Tops leaks!!! I had an 82' firebird didn't leak, but i think that was like the only one I've ever seen that didn't leak! Now my 86' Camaro didn't leak, BUT it had the notorious door sag. Anyways to the OP, I'd say go for it! A sun roof would be a very nice addition! If i wouldn't of added an overhead console, i would put a sun roof in my 94!
