Suburban/Tahoe Rear Wipers (switches and wiring)

Hey Guys,

I've been eyeballing putting rear wipers on my barndoors. After reading the "Every possible dash switch for GMT400 Trucks" Thread I have a question or two. I saw there is a delay setting on the switch, is it a full voltage position or does it have an inline resistor on that position?

How is the wiring from the dash routed to rear hatch area factory? Is it down the door jam or overhead under the headliner?
