For me? 4000-4500. It's 2wd, stepside, and non-vortec. The interior is clean and I like that! But ME PERSONALLY, not a huge fan of the stepside beds. TBI wouldn't be a deal breaker at all if it was 4wd and fleetside... once again, just me! lol I DO want to add a TBI to my collection one day so I can experience owning one.

If it was 4wd and fleetside... I think he could be anywhere from 7-8k with that mileage and pristine stock condition... maybe 6-7k... closer to 7k.

In the army, I worked on a lot of 6.2 and 6.5 diesels... I hear so many bad things about them in the gmt400's, but I would love to own one someday for the experience. That's a good looking truck and I wouldn't be afraid to pick it up and give it some lovin'. Wonder what the miles are?

There's plenty of people here who show a great deal of dislike for the 6.5s *cough cough @skylark*; I'd love to own one for ***** and giggles; honestly this truck looks like someone took great care of it, so it possibly wouldn't take much to get it running proper with all the necessary upgrades.

Aside from the rust on the blue 98, there's something about these trucks that sit right with me.

I want to own a 6.5 one of these days, but only because I want one of these.

Specifically the slant back like what's in that ad. The soft tops are cool too but I never liked them as much. The slant backs are just mean looking.

I like the hatches too! The HMMWV was easy to work on, I just bet the parts may be getting expensive... If you ever do a brake job, the brakes are right beside the diff... because they use geared hubs for clearance. It's a cool design!

Yeah... I've read that maintaining them is fairly costly as a regular Joe. Also read that they're not a lot of fun to drive on the street. But they're just so damn cool!

This truck was taken care of. I bought it from the second owner. Both owners had meticulous records and it even had the window sticker. I got it with 79k and a dead hole in the 6.5. It is one of 3 6.5's that have been in my possession with less than 125k and a major failure. I'm hoping that my roll of the dice with the 6.5 that I recently acquired will have a better future.
