I used RAAMmat, its a great mat, and is usually much better priced than other brands IME.

I have a question for those of you who have added sound deadening to their trucks. Have you noticed any improvement in warmth in the cab during colder weather? Just wondering if the sound deadening adds any insulation to the cab.

I guess theoretically it would help insulate, but I haven't noticed any real temperature difference.

Figured I would ask since in theory the deadening added to the inside of the exterior panels would act as an aditional thermo barrier.

your right it would, I just haven't noticed any difference in how the temperature feels. you probably lose alot more through the windows and other uninsulated areas than is gained from being insulated by the sound deadening.

Fair enough either way I am prob going to add deadening for better sound anyway was just wondering if there were any other advantages.

I used Second Skin Audio Spectrum, its similar to the lizard skin not sure how the compare side by side its only 50 bucks for a pale of it and two pales covered the entire truck. Also used various other normal deadener for the doors and under back seat and back wall.
