i have my torsion bars at pretty much the stock place and stock rear suspension but my ride still sucks. i was looking at getting some new shocks and didnt really know what brand is best for a smooth ride. i only tow a little boat that doesn't weigh more than 500 lbs so towing capabilities isn't a big factor. so how do i get the best/ softest ride possible

I went from the worn out stock Z71 Bilstein shocks to Monroe Magnums (yellow shocks) and the ride seemed too soft.
I then went to Rancho RS5000 and was extremely happy with the ride.
Recently, I had heard excellent things about the KYB Monomax shocks, so I decided to try them. They rode way too hard so I went back to the Rancho's.
I recommend the Rancho RS5000 shocks.
