side molding question, dumb but I need to know

Yeah, I took it off when I had it painted and its looked to "meh" ever since, cant wait to get some put back on it..

Noticed about 10x door dings since removing mine. May go the same route but have them shot with color matched bedliner...

Yes, the molding came from LMC. As far as how much you need, my truck is a RCSB, so I don't know what amount the other body styles need. I bought one large roll, & I have more than a few feet of it leftover.
To do the molding the way I did, took 2 of us just under 2 hours. Sure, the other guy is a body man, and has exp. doing this stuff, but a lot of the time it took was making sure everything was prepped and making the cuts nice on the molding. The truck had to have a small dent in the passenger side of the box fixed right where the molding is. Other than that it was cake.
