I am looking at doing a SAS in my 99 Tahoe becase lift kits are super expensive and id still have the 8.25 diff. I have push button 4wd, if I ditch the front diff for a dana 60 will i loose my ability to use the stock push button 4wd? If anyone has experience with this please chime in. Is the stock t'case strong enough to wheel 37s loaded down with weight?

What t-case do you have? If you have the 243, then it will be fine, mine has it. But the 246 or whatever it's called, that would need to be swapped out. It has a slip yoke, and won't work with an SAS. T-case will be fine, many 3/4 and 1 tons used em as well.
