It ran when he brought it home (all way from Kentucky) but when put to the floor its being limited to 3000 rpm.i figured its gotta be a timing issue. And i made sure to unplug the ETC wire before messing with the distributor. As of not it wont even try to start

I'd work on the timing and getting the proper sensors working before messing with the computer.

Base timing is 0°. You need to unplug the wire from the computer to do it.

if i remember right its behind some plastic box on the passenger side firewall...
