When you guys replace the frnt speakers do you unplug the factory tweeter? Most speakers come in a 2-4 way and was wondering which way to go. I will be using my aftermarket head unit to power them along with a amp to my basslink

Not I don't think it's to much. I think it sounds great considering how much I spent. Mine are 2 ways I think maybe 3...

Installed Pioneer 3-way's and left factory tweets in place. Mids and highs are searing, which is good. No reason to disconnect, unless you go with components and end up replacing them.

I bought an Alpine Speaker and tweeter combo. Came with both door speakers and tweeters, aswell as two crossovers to distribute correctly between the two. This way you dont get Mids trying to play super high notes and visa versa
