Removing coating from wheels.

What's the best way to finish removing the coating off of alloy wheels? About half of it has already peeled off, so I want to get the rest so I can polish them up. Thanks.

I did the same thing. I used gel paint stripper from the hardware store then pressure washed it off. It worked excellent. Heres a pic of how they came out. No polishing was done in this pic.

I woukd avoid getting it on the tires because I think it damages them.

Thats the video I saw too. Haha. Except I couldn't find any of the mar hyde stuff. I also forgot to tell you, I highly recommend removing the wheels from the truck and doing it in a open place away from other painted things. Because when you pressure wash it the stuff goes all over. And if there on the truck it increases the likely hood of messing upbthe paint on that too.
