RCX Install Question

I'm installing the upper control arm drop bracket. It appears to lay across the flat part on the shock tower so to speak. Are you suppose to grind this section down so that the bracket sits flat on the frame at the mounting ears on the outside? Because right now the ears are about 1/2" off the frame. The directions say nothing about grinding down on the flat section, but the picture looks like it's been possibly altered in some way there. Fwiw, my dick cepek did not have this problem. Now I know why they used a tubular section there on the cepek. It fits alot better.

You can, but Most people prolly don't cause once you tighten down the end ones it will tighten up to the frame

i did .. just cuz i wanted it to be flat to the frame.. your call i guess

Yeah I guess I will grind as well. Seems pretty dumb to have the flanges 1/2" from the frame. Definately alot better design on the cepek.
