I have a pioneer deh x6900bt radio in my 91 k1500 rcsb. Out of the blue, the speakers quit producing sound and all i got was noise from the subwoofer. I have 4 kicker 4x10s wired in to the radio with aftermarket wires, and 2 kickers 6.5s thru an amp. None of the speakers were making sound. Any idea what it could be?

That was honestly my first thought as well, but this is one of those things that's really hard to diagnose over the internet. It's either the head unit giving out internally, or you've got a short in a wire somewhere.

Yup. Like I said earlier, if it's not the radio then there's a short somewhere. Time to bust out the multimeter and start testing continuity.
