Question about an nv4500 swap

I have a 1998 k3500 silverado with the 7.4l vortec and the 4l80e trans. A friend of mine is willing to sell to me for cheap an nv4500 from a 1994 silverado with a 5.7l tbi. I do know that after 1994 the nv4500 changed the lower end gear ratios, but I dont know if the bell housing changed. I am also aware of the difference in motors, but I have struggled to find information on whether or not this particular nv4500 will bolt up to my 7.4l. Does anyone here have any knowledge of the nv4500? Any help is greatly appreciated.

No bellhousing difference between 5.7 / 7.4. It will bolt right up. The clutch, flywheel, etc. of course are all different for the 7.4 app so the parts from the 5.7 won't work.
