Power seats

I recently put a 60/40 power seat in my truck. I dont have the desire to hook them up however I was wanting to fine tune the lumbar support of the seat.. Can I just hook my lawnmower battery to the wires long enuff to get the adjustment i need for the seat or am I way off base here?

IDK for sure, but I don't see why not as long as it's 12v.
