I have this code on my 1997 5.7 tahoe. The truck would not start
Changed Crank position sensor and now truck runs but still have code. I am gessing the timing is off.
Can I still drive the truck to were they have a scanner to adjust timing (about 25 miles)

Maybe you’re thinking of the CKP relearn procedure which is done after replacing the sensor. Any shop with a real scan tool should be able to do it.

Thanks for the procedure . But what I was asking ,Can I drive the truck to where this can be done without doing any damage. The truck runs great .
