I will check underneath the pcm again but I did not see it first time around.
I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear and thank you very much for the quick reply. I think the buffer boxes came into play with electric trans’ and I have seen them in the middle underneath the glovebox insert.
I showed a pic of my glove box and can’t seem to find consistency on location. My Speedo worked perfectly before the swap but I have swapped from a 2wd 700r4 to a NP208 cable drive.
I need to verify the pulse per mile setup so I can convert analog to digital signal.

This should work. I will look in the daylight but I didn’t see anything underneath pcm first go.
Thanks to all getting this sorted.

The VSS won't jam right into the 208? I think there's a unit out there that will.

Edit: here ya go.

You can find the buffer box in a truck with an electronic transmission.

also gm used gear driven electronic vss in early 87-88 firebirds and other vehicles. Between various 87-91 gm vehicles I had came across few that had a gear driven electronic vss

Rog ya that is ideally what I figure will work. I’ve never messed with anything quite like that. The tpi specialist seem to have an item I think would work. I reached out because I figured there was a little more expertise on here, much appreciated.

Thanks for the link but it is a 40 pulse. I believe mine is a 2 pulse. This is basically the route I am wanting to go but I need to verify if I indeed have a 2 pulse or if I have to get something from Dakota as a stepper to a 2 pulse. I hope I have explained that well enough. I appreciate the link though.
