ordered a mean green 4hi relay. still up in the air on headlight assemblies and grille options...

you can order all the lights oem from gmpartsdirect.com

you can get an oem grill there as well but if yours is decent I would just paint the egg crate black

Yeah I am just going to keep it and paint the grated part for now. There is a big hole in the center chrome line but it's not that big of a deal. she's an old truck

I've got a 94 grill swapped onto my 93, and it was a direct replacement (came with the corners on it). I also did not use the lower valance or lower brackets, so its held in with just the top 4 screws. I've also got billet inserts in it.. but thats obviously optional.

You should put the lower valance on...I think it would look gewd.

But ya, options for the grilles of these trucks are virtually endless.

I looked into it... no room. I think it may be because my bumper was moved sometime in the past due to the plow.

Nope. It's because of the reason that BHBurban mentioned. The 94-98 bumpers are actually farther out than the 88-93 bumpers are. I've tried to make my lower valence fit the newer grill and not a single hole lines up. I planned on drilling holes in to put the clips on, but never have.

So I took some plasti dip to my truck today. Did the mirrors, grille grate, and wiper arms. Nothing crazy but looks nicer.
Please excuse the crappy cell phone pics. I am not assuming the changes will show up too well with the crap photos.
