Hello, I have a 1993 Suburban C1500 and recently bought some 15x8s for it. My question is, what is the best tire size I should use ? I'm not looking for offroad or mud tires, I want street tires.
I was looking at 245/60R15 because I have seen a couple single cabs with that tire size but I'm concerned about the load rating. The Suburban obviously being heavier than a single cab, I am worried I will exceed the weight limit for any tires in that size.
I would also prefer to keep the aspect ratio at 60, i dont want to go any higher because I am lowering the truck (either a 4/6 or 5/7) and want to have some clearance.
I am brand new to building trucks as I previously owned a static FRS, so any help on this topic or anything related to lowering the obs suburban would be great !
