not sure im feeling the 3'' hood scoop

well guys i recently got a 3'' bolt on hood scoop on ebay. and im not sure if im liking it

not sure if its worth putting the work into to making it fit perfect, or just selling it and saving for a 2'' full fiberglass hood.

Um sell it and save for a steel 2". I can't believe they even make such a thing like that.

yeah thats what i decided. i was thinking about a full fiberglass for weight savings? what do you guys think?

It is a TRUCK. No need for fiberglass if you ever intend to use it as a truck.

I have a fiberglass cowl on my Mustang and have never had any issues with it (knock on wood) but if I were to have bought it myself, I would go with a steel hood, every time.

and will not fit as well as a nice steel one, I have a goodmark and love it

full steel hood is the only way to go, everything else is crap imo

go with a goodmark like blue 95 said i have one on my 97 and one on our 99 silverado and they fit perfect very nice quality hoods

yup, in the end we will probably end up with goodmarks on both of ours
