Any know anything about the EHCU "electro hydraulic control unit"? I have a friend, her trucks is leaking... to buy a new one is something stupid like 1000 bucks?! couldn't find anything at the wreckers either! Any one know if it can be deleted? make it just normal brakes?

That sounds like the abs pump. Is it located on the drivers side frame rail. If it is it seems about right.

Not sure if it can be deleted or not. I don't think it could be because it is the proportioning valve as well. I'm sure the truck has 4 wheel disc to boot so that makes it harder. I have replaced a few of them and hundreds of lines to and from them, but no one has asked if I could by pass it.
