Hello all,
Ive been watching this forum for a while, so I figured it was time to formerly introduce my self. I live in Baytown, Tx about 20 minutes east of Houston....Ive owned 2 chevys in the past ( 94 regular cab and 89 regular cab)..... I recently had the opportunity to purchase a custom 1997 extended cab short box for next to nothing , and jumped on it. Here's a listing of the work that had already been done to it before I bought it.:
Exterior:
Lowered (was told it was 3/5, but I think it is a 4/6)
Debadged
Color matched grill
Color matched smoothie front bumper
Projector headlights
Clear corners
10k HID DRLs
Black bowtie on grill
Smoked stock taillights
Roll on bedliner
Interior:
Aftermarket Black carpet kit
Full custom 2-tone Black/Teal Ostrich Skin interior(faux but looks the part...lol)
(includes front 60/40 seats & armrest, rear seat, headliner, and door panels)
Custom painted gauge surround
LED backlit gauges
LED dome light
Dark tint ( dunno is its legal or not yet...... reeeeeeally dark)
CD/MP3/HD radio deck w/IPOD control
kicker speaker system(no subs yet)
fully wired for sub box
Drivetrain:
5.7 TBI v8
4l60e tranny
Full K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit
MSD Coil and wires
Headers
Dual exhaust w/ dual in-dual out Flowmaster and turndowns
New shift kit and servo in the tranny
For the price I paid, it was well worth it....My future plans are a set of black 20 inch rims, some minor body work on the drivers side, paint job(still deciding on color scheme, and smoothing and painting the dash and interior panels
