how much can that bed lift?

It's a 2 ton lift. I've dumped many a ton.
Dumping dry firewood feels like there is nothing in the bed. I sold fire wood on the side for a while. Customers would say "lets stack it over here". I'd get their money and say "How about I dump it right there"?
I could load the bed above the side with wood and the truck didn't squat a bit due to the air lift.
I dumped an unbalanced load of crushed rock a few years back. I tweaked the right side bracket and she broke.
I beefed it up a little recently. The pivot point in the rear is the weak link right now. Within a month or two, I'll be detailing the frame and will be modifing the tilt frame.
Though I've never had to try it, I think it would work great to get rid of any car jackers that hopped in the back.
