6-lug axles...6-lug brake drums...6-lug brake rotors...6-lug wheels.

Plenty to change for no real reason.

Seems to me that 4WD rear axles are a different width than 2WD; so it's not like you could swap axle shafts from a K1500.

How would you change the front? Is there a 6-lug 2WD rotor/hub assembly? If not, you'd have to put a K1500 steering knuckle in there, and hold it together with the outer CV joint, washer, and nut (but not the rest of the CV shaft) I'm not sure the K1500 steering knuckle would fit the 2WD control arms/ball joints.

im not sure on the shafts either. I know the older ones could interchange. The front isn't hard, think need from the knuckle out from a C2500 6 lug truck. But, if you find a C2500 6 lug, then you could swap the rear too. If it's there of course. Might need to hit the junkyard with a tape measure. You might be able swap shafts between ur current axle and that of a 4wd.
