I KNOW I KNOW! The thing is I can totally afford a new vehicle. I'm not a fan of Ford, but those new mustangs are so sexy I was thinking about buying one of those... But literally everything on my truck is perfect/new besides my dash lol.

It's a dash board for 's sake. Of course it's going to cost $1000.

Besides repainting a junkyard dash, you could maybe try epoxying some sheet metal to it to stiffen it up. But, that might move the problem somewhere else like cracking around the mounting locations.
