I see people say this and makes me wonder what the hell is wrong with my truck. Even with 33s, full exhaust, headers, Intake and a 91 BB tune with 100% tm removed, my truck couldn't even chirp the tires. Now with 35s... Not a chance.

Especially considering that we make 65 more hp and 30 ft/lbs of torque

Good news everyone! My sister is parting her '99 Silverado out so I'm grabbing the 5.3L and wiring harness/ECU for $350. Also have someone buying my 350tbi and 4L60E so that'll pretty much pay more 90% of it. So, the 5 speed and 5.3L swap will come sooner than expected!!! Also the shop in town said they should be able to weld up my bellhousing so hopefully that will happen this Friday. Excited!

Like 220k but for $350 I'm not gong to complain. I've also seen it run and it's a great running motor! Just a very rusty truck that needs to get parted out! Frame crumbled on it when they put it on the lift haha damn Minnesota winters!!!

Those LS motors are bulletproof and will run forever. Our yukon has the 5.3 and its sitting at 133,400 and it still feels like its got tons of life left in it. Our hemi on the otherhand dosent feel the same at 100,000

Oh yes eventually I'll pull the engine, do a mild build on it and somedayyyy I'll throw some turbos on it. I just love the idea of a lifted GMT400 with a twin turbo 5.3 in it
