I picked up a new toy yesterday technically my kids bought it for me since the government wants to give me extra money every year for having kids I figured we would use it for some family fun. It’s a 67 Pontiac Catalina with a 6.0 LS motor, rebuilt 700r4 trans and a 4.11 rear end that was rebuilt as well. Motor was completely rebuilt using LSX intake and a Holley sniper fuel injection. Interior and body are original and need a little work but frame was painted and car is very solid. My pans are to maybe recarpet the interior put in a headliner and fix up some missing dash pieces.

I’m running low on garage space but there she is next to my 800 tucked away.

Pretty cool! Our family car when I was a kid was a 70 LeMans 4 door, 350 2bbl/ TH350, that thought it was a GTO. When my brother came along in 1982, the Poncho got retired and we got a Buick LeSabre Estate Wagon. Many trips in both of them, and good memories. Then the boy got bigger, and we needed more room for hauling stuff to swap meets....so the Suburban odyssey began.

Wagons are hot these days. I've seen quite a few nice ones recently on the Mecum auctions televised on NBCSN.
