I am using the bottom end of a 70 SBC 350, crank and cam. Going to put the heads and intake on the top ,from a 90 5.7 chevy motor. Can I use the Cams and push rods from the 70 block?

If they're in decent condition.

You'll need a different flexplate/flywheel, from the '70 not the '90, and a starter to match the diameter of the flexplate/flywheel you select.

The damper has to match the timing pointer, and at least MY '88 has the timing pointer almost "straight up" (timing light shines "straight down" through an access hole in the bigass horseshoe accessory bracket) where most older engines had the timing pointer tipped to the left.
