motor swap questions on 4L60 trans

I want ot do a motor swap in my 1994 2wd c1500, and am going to use a carburetored motor and a MSD ign, what do I need to do to have the transmission work normally ?

You could use the stock PCM to do the transmission control. It would take some work to get the PCM to not freak out because there aren't any engine inputs, but as long as you maintain a TPS and RPM signal, it should function.

I am also going to use a regular style MSD HEI ign. will this be an issue ?, and how does the trans get the RPM signal ?
