Marker light fuse melts but don't blow

I have a 1994 chevy and the taillight fuse will melt and not blow out and I can't seem to find a short anywhere or where the wiring has anot bad spots in it. Please help!!!

your headlight switch is the issue,I went thru this with my 88 k3500 I had.did the same as you checked all wires for shorts couldnt find any and one night driving home switch let go and no lights at all.see if the switch gets hot with the lights on if not check the circut boards for the tail light bulbs could be a short in those

Righton. Good thing I have an extra switch for it. Just have to find it in my garage..... I will switch it out and see what happens. Thanks for the info! I will let you know results
