Over the past few days, but took a trip to the junkyard this weekend and they had this unit sitting out front; 94 3500HD, 6.5/NV4500 with about 74K miles. I don't know if it's original miles, but I do know it's been sitting for some time. Guys at the yard said the pump was out of it, asked about a price but they can't really discuss pricing to someone without a dealer's license

Had a yardsale yesterday and this beaute pulled up, clean as a whip and sounded so good. Didn't get a chance to talk to the owner about it,

A few other GMT400s rolled up too, a 6.5 C3500 with a flatbed pulling a dump trailer, a cherry Z71 ECSS, and a sharp 2WD Tahoe. Wish I would've gotten pics of them all.

2 door was at the Northern Tool Friday, when brother and I came out the door from picking up a couple of things. Funny to see the longest and shortest 400s in the same lot.
The transmission guy has me intrigued; his truck looks well kept so hopefully he knows what he's doing....
Anyone else noticed the old school GM truck taillights (complete with Blue Dots!) on the square body stepside? I thought that was a cool touch!

Haha, overloaded is a DOT term and I ain’t running log books in a 400…if it fits it ships ! The U joints sound very tired, I might need to back off a bit

They’re probably 30lb bags x 50, I can’t do math that big

Pretty sure the reason I had to replace the cracked leaf spring on my 93 was the load of flagstone that was perhaps inconsistent with manufacturers payload suggestions..so I have a history of not knowing my limits…don’t try this at home kids

30# per bag at 50 quantity figures out to 1500#...now that is the number on the door, but to haul 3/4 of a ton on a regular basis you should have a 2500 truck!
I saw some people with a new Yukon struggling for a while to get a fridge in their SUV at work yesterday, and the whole time I'm thinking "ya know, if you had a TRUCK that wouldn't be a problem....slide it in standing up, up against the front of the bed, Rawhide could handle that easy peasy". I keep bungees and ratchet straps in my truck for whatever I may need to carry; had four boxes of toys on top of plastic tables laid down in the front of the bed, over the weekend to go to a local toy show.
