lost power steering boost

Replaced steering box and pump on my 99 k1500 OBS at the same time. After it was complete, I had no power steering. Both parts were reman. I can see the fluid in the pump circulating as if its pumping. Was hoping it was air-locked. Had it running with the pwr steering pump cap off 10-15 mins. Still no pwr steering. Would you start with another pump? Any ideas?

Did you turn the steering wheel from lock to lock 20 to 50 times it may not take that long and make sure that the front tires are off the ground

Determined the reman'd pump was bad. Installed a new pump and it worked perfectly!
