Leaking head gasket cover?

those vortec motors were notorious for plastic intake gaskets failing about every 80k miles, felpro came out with a solution in making rubber coated steel gaskets, most of the time on that motor that is the coolant loss issue, if your oil is normal and exhaust is not sweet smelling and the radiator hose does not get hard right away after a cold start then chances are its not a head gasket but most likely the intake gasket.

Thanks fellas, well if I do get it done I'll take it to a shop haha, the people I take it to charge 40$ an hour, how much do y'all think it'll run?
