The shop should have never touched a thing if any of the front end was needing to be replaced. They just took your money and if you complain they will point to any worn out/damaged parts.

Yep. More caster = better return to center and a heavier feel. Cross caster = pull hard to the side with less positive caster. You definitely want them close to even.I always get the alignment shop to dial in as much caster as possible.
Gives the truck have a heavier feel in the steering, but it also makes it want to come back to center more readily.
