looking to change my intake manifold when I replace my engine and I was wondering if anyone has tried the ramjet or pro flo systems and compared them to the marine intake swap? and what you would recommend? pro flo is like double the price of the ramjet and the marine intake as both are around $2000 and the pro flo $4000.

You'll be paying for a lot of things you don't need with the Proflo XT kit, like the wiring harness, ECM, sensors, etc. You can get just the intake and fuel rails, use an LS1 throttle body and injectors, your existing sensors, rework your harness to reach, and run it with an 0411 for less than the kit. There are some clearance issues with the factory crab cap distributor, but it can be made to work. This is only if you're comfortable with wiring though.
