My 93 Camaro dynos lower the hotter the coolant gets. You can watch it drop about 1hp from one pull to the next, starting at the 160 degree temperature of the thermostat.
So basically 1-2HP difference total? I can't imagine it would take more than one or two pulls to climb 20 degrees. You're talking differences that are so negligible they could be attributed to standard variation in runs.
My "opinions" are based on facts.
You say that like 99% of them aren't... BBP has been tuning these trucks professionally for years. If they tell me to stick with the stock 195 degree for best results, I'm inclined to believe them.
And that's all I will be saying on this matter.
