I'm Awesome
I just wanted a more direct fuel path for the fuel that was all. The guy who owned it before the guy I bought the truck from was a meth head or something I guess. He had all kinds of fuel lines going everywhere.I'm not a fan of long runs of rubber fuel hose. NHRA only allows 12" of unbraided rubber hose, and even if you're not taking it to a strip, it's a very good rule to follow. "A maximum of 12 inches total (front to rear) of non-metallic or non-steel braided hose is permitted for connection purposes only". Steel braided hose and hard lines is the rule. I bought 25' of aluminum tubing, a pile of AN fittings, and steel braided hose to completely re-plumb my Jaguar. It cost a couple hundred dollars, but the peace of mind is worth it.
I set the fuel pressure to 5.7 or 5.8 psi and it ain't moved at all.
