I am just gonna give some input too. I have a tbi 350 with no real "add ons" except for exhaust and k&n filter setup. I have a 4" lift cranked and 315/70r17's with 4.56 gears. My truck is a long bed so I have the 34 gallon tank. I have never gone less than 350 miles before needing a fill up. I usually fill up around 300-310 just to be sure. When I take longer road trips that are mostly highway I have gone well over 450 per fill up. I have only had the 4.56 gears for about 3 years. Before that, I had 3.73 and it honestly was not that big of a difference mileage wise. I mainly noticed a difference in cruising power on the freeway and how much less my transmission had to work. I would go over your truck and check all the fluids and tune up components to ensure everything is in proper working order.
