HELP?!?

A condenser for a point distributor wouldn't have that much wire on it. It's like maybe 2 inches long and fits inside the distributor on my Buick.

This looks like it's some sort of noise suppression for a radio. When I was a kid my dad had an old radio that may have been in his 68 mustang and it had something like this on it.

You're right, the connectors look like it's designed to fit inline as a noise suppressor.

Not familiar with the 91 4.3 V6 but it looks like a capacitor and I suspect it is tied into the ignition coil, probably to eliminate radio interference.

Yeah that's what I was finding online but it was all old Corvette stuff so maybe the previous owner used it or something, thank you for the reply!

I don't know why, but I get a "HVAC blower motor" vibe from that thing. Perhaps due to the shape of the connectors.

The wire on that resistor looks like it plugged in between the harness and the blower motor so static won’t interfere with the radio.

It is for the blower motor for reducing electrical noise. I have seen them on Military CUCV trucks but they are mental for reducing electrical noise. They even have condensers on the wiper motor for each speed. I think they had like three.
