Hello all. First time poster.

My name is Jason, and I just purchased a 1995 Tahoe 2 Door with quite a few upgrades. Most were done by the previous owner (family friend), some were done in the short time I have owned it. I have most of the upgrades in the about me section, but the highlights:

502 RamJet Engine
5 Speed Manual
14 Bolt Rear End (still trying to determine gears)

Right now it is in the shop getting a few more upgrades (custom exhaust, SS brake lines, etc.), so I don't have the updated pictures, but I do have some "before" pictures.

I think this site is wonderful, and have already learned so much about our trucks from it. I look forward to participating in some of the discussions here. Thanks, and if anyone wants to talk, or just BS, I'm all for it.

Jason

Welcome and WOW! That's an awesome engine bay! It's been a while since I had to deal with NY state smog regulations. I still have to get my 2000 Z71 Tahoe smoged out here in CA every 2 years - computer hook-up, sniffer, visual inspection, etc. etc. Can't imagine what would happen if he saw this! Did you have to deal with that when you bought this beauty?

Thanks for the welcome! In NY, if your car is 1995 or older, you don't get a OBDII test. Just a "visual inspection"... lets just say the guy did a "visual inspection" of my headlights and approved me. Also, I currently have a Cat on it, so it would have passed the visual inspection. Here in NY we don't do the sniffer tests anymore because too many mechanics were getting killed running it on the dyno (I know, right?)

I love it. The look you have going on is my favorite for a street truck. not all slammed, this is still functional. Makes me want a 2door Tahoe/yukon badly.

Thanks all! The only thing about the look I am going to change is smoking out the rear tail-lights. I can always revert back if I don't like it.
And one more photo. The "short throw shifter"... not:
