Anyone know a cheap way to fix this chrome flaw that developed on my stock grill?
I bought a billet grill insert and I thought I could temporarily fix this at the same time.
I'm pretty sure you can't remove and replace just the chrome.
I don't want to go to the expense of replacing the entire nose just yet.
I plan on painting the whole truck sometime next year so I will replace the nose then.
I have no problem leaving it alone for now and transferring the billet grill to the new nose later.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks.

have you tried dropping to your knees and making a puddle of tears?

I don't know of the best fix, really..... I think there is chrome tape and chrome-like-paint, but I don't think either one would blend very well

The first time I saw it there was no tears........just a few choice words.
I figured it wouldn't be an easy fix. I will probably leave it alone and replace the front nose later.
I'm the only one who really notices it anyway.

My grill is the same way. You have to replace the whole thing to get rid of it

No body color. Doesn't look right.
The chrome film in interesting and priced right.
I just ordered the billet grill this morning. It's an ebay find so we'll see about the quality.
Search ebay for "18 bar billet grill".
