Fuel pump upgrade?

I upgraded big blocks and injectors in my 2000 2500. My question is do I need to upgrade the fuel pump? I am putting 40 lb injectors in. Thoughts?

What else have you done to it that needs the extra fuel?

It is a 502 with a nice cam. Makes considerably more power

Put a pressure gauge on it and jump on it through 2nd gear to see if you lose any pressure. That way you'll know if you need to upgrade.
