Hey guys im new to this site and have a question. I have a 92 silverado bagged on 22's. The shop that did it put a fuel cell in because they said the stock tank would not work (which i know now can be used). Its a plastic cell that they cut a hole in and put the factory pump and sending unit in and looks like they RTV it. My question is is there a sealent i could put around it to keep it form leaking? What do i do about the gas slouching around and stalling the truck when the fuel level is low? Also should i just take it to a real shop and have them put the factory tank and raise the crossmember? Any info you guys give would be appreciated

Buy a new fuel cell that has not been hacked ... To stop the fuel from moving make sure the new fuel cell has foam in it.

I would vote for putting a stock tank back in and raising the crossmember's you would be much better off in the long run.

If you want to keep a fuel cell hit up extensive metal fabworks for a good cell. If not have a stock tank raised its ur truck and ultimatly your decision.
