Hey guys. Im building a 98 k 1500 and have found a engine that is similar to the one I had planned on building. It is a 5.7, .60 over, 4 bolt main, stock crank and rods have been reworked, all new bearings, speed pro .125 dome top pistons, lt4 hotcam 218/228 duration .525/.525 lift, guides cut .050, crane cams springs, TCI tc w/2800 stall. All parts are new, only thing I need to get is a set of 1.6 roller rockers (guy told me self aligning) and pushrods, and I plan on a set of long tubes. My question is if anyone has a similar setup and how streetable this will be? Also what is a good intake to use? Stock? I imaging I will need a retune so ill probably do a mail order tune. Any preferences to a good set of rockers? I will be putting a build thread on here soon.
