I’ll look it up at work Tuesday to be sure. I work at GM maybe I’ll run the vin. This dually maybe the 3500hd.
It's not the 3500 HD, those look completely different. It may have the 6.5 HD, but the literature doesn't distinguish between them for tow rating.
Regardless, if you're gonna bag yours all that **** is going in the scrap pile anyway!

I think I know what you're talking about. A setup similar to this?

Just to add to this, my rclb with 5.7 has the extra leafs on top like that. I'm thinking all 3500s came like that, but could be wrong. I'd be curious to hear from the single rear wheel 3500 guys, if they have the top leaf set.
@1ton-o-fun @frito-bandito I would think they do.

Remember, mine was like (thousands?)
ordered as county road department fleet vehicles. Mine actually spent 272,*** miles as one. Probably not much need for the extra heavy springs. Lots of bigger trucks for that purpose.

1993 C3500 2wd single rear wheel reporting for show & tell.
That looks like the spring pack in my Burb. And it's a C1500! I know Burbs got an extra leaf over pickups but..... I didn't think the towing package got you 1 ton springs. Maybe that's why it doesn't squat with a load.
