So towed it back to another shop. Failed leak down and compression tests. They said it was toast. So I will be parting with my truck and move on to something else :'(

I would just throw a new motor in it cheaper than getting a new truck

I just don't have time or a place to work on it or else I would. I love this truck but I need a truck for the job I do and I can't just keep renting one

You can do a motor swap in a weekend with common tools

It would probably be cheaper to find a shop in your area that rebuilds engines and take it there. As opposed to buying another truck. Or just do a weekend swap.
