On a TBI 350, can the EGR valve be deleted without too many modifications? Emissions are of no concern to me. What components, if any, will be necessary? Here's what I have planned.

Edelbrock carbureted intake w/o egr provision
Modified throttle body
Throttle body adapter plate

check engine light is gonna come on, that's about it, also remove the egr solenoid which is on the intake, mounted to the bracket with th MAP and esc.

he doesn,t need to make a block of or remove it, he said he's got a non egr edelbrock intake(4bbl) and then that leaves the light, and yes a tune or flash or whatever fixes the light.
