On the way to central Texas for Mom's high school reunion, and there's older trucks all over the place.... these are in Shiner(the famous craft brewery, but also the home of Ranch Hand truck accessories).
We were trying to find a place to eat in Shiner and picked a diner on the west edge of town. Pulling into the lot, I see the burgundy CCLB.... of all the places (and there's a bunch of restaurants there!) we find the place with an OBS crew cab next door!

Here's a pair of 1931 Ford Model A's, both driven there from a local car show. Fired right up and pulled out on the highway, amazing to think that these cars are almost a hundred years old!
Cobra Daytona coupe is probably one of the Factory Five ones, but still quite rare to see in the wild....

This morning, saw this vintage Chevy van at Kroger. The 3500 with the trailer was across the street from the motel, came up a big hill and rounded the curve like he's got a big block. Nice looking truck, saw it for this picture at McDonald's. Green one at the gas station is at Buc-ees in Eagle Lake. Gray Blazer and white pickup were in Hallettsville.
Going to stop on the way home, saw several trucks in various towns that came up too fast to catch... plus a very interesting looking old school salvage yard outside of Hallettsville.

I'm enjoying coming out into the rural areas, and seeing plenty of OBS and square body trucks, being used as trucks as well as basic transportation. No girly man dolled up half tons here, just long bed 6 and 8 lug trucks, with 8' beds, earning their keep every day, for 25, 30, 40 or more years. Rawhide fits in quite well!
I know the feeling. Lol

Some from today in Gonzales, Texas. Two crew cabs, one literally across the highway from the motel, and the 2 door was a couple blocks away. The other one was in town a little further, next door to the NAPA. W/T was on that property as well....last one was on one of the squares downtown (they have three!).
