Got a new windshield! Finally I can see!
My old one was the original and had been cracked all across for 6+ years.

It's an FY, made in China but that's alright, it's new and only cost me $175 all told.
I never knew I'd be so happy about a windshield haha.

Took her camping last weekend with some buddies.
Loving the new windshield! One of the best things I've bought for it.

I got it done by a local shop here in Grand Junction.

Yeah I like Dynomax stuff, how do you like yours?

I like it because it doesn't get any glasspack crackle and pop unless you stomp on it.

Lol that why I was asking! I am in Fruita, like 10 miles away, been looking for a good deal on glass.

Oh ha, I didn't realize you were local.
I went to The Glass Brokerage, they're friendly, and did a good job at a decent price. They're over off Pitkin.

Couple updates

Finally redid part of my cooling system:
Spectra Radiator, stock 28" wide one but it's a good rad, made in Canada actually.
New Four Seasons thermostat housing, Stant 195 Superstat, a fancy Summit reusable rubber thermostat housing gasket, Continental lower rad hose, AcDelco Rad cap, and nice fresh Prestone coolant.

Seemed to fix my getting hot issue, but now the gauge reads higher at than before at operating temp.
I suspect the gauge is inaccurate and am going to hook up an aftermarket gauge and check it out.

Finally sold my Pos Jeep XJ project, I think now I can afford to replace my steering components which are getting sketchy at this point with 175k miles.

Kind of a bittersweet moment, I had high hopes for the Jeep but I could never get it to run right, and I was tired of spending money on it to get nowhere.
