based on the pic I would have also guessed that to not be factory paint peeling.
I can come take the truck away if it bothers you too much, I'll take peeling any day over rust.

Yeah, no rust down here.

One day I’ll get it repainted when I have several grand to donate to the cause. Life keeps happening in the meantime, lol.

We have a body shop at work and the micro bubbles happen and repaint and yes its usually from poor prep but can come from incompatible chemicals with the factory coats and aftermarket stuff

My personal opinion is its from economy clear coats used in repair facilities
